The American School for the Deaf (ASD) repurposed existing space to create Rockwell Visual Communications (VCC), a technologically advanced space that provides its visitors with unparalleled access to information.
The flexibility of the VCC supports ASD’s program and pedagogic goals, as well as community outreach.

Sophisticated studio lighting and controls facilitate the creation of multiple “scenes.”
Multi-view cameras and a 16-foot media wall enable “virtual classroom” ability, and enhanced amplification equipment allows deaf and hard of hearing students to experience the thrill of musical performances and events.
