Westchester County

The County of Westchester Department of Emergency Services was in need of a new equipment storage facility to be located at the Fire Training Center. The new steel prefabricated building will alleviate the necessity to store expensive deployable equipment such as trailers, generators, pumps, messaging signs, lighting towers and sandbaggers outdoors in an uncovered fenced-in area. This new building will have the capacity to store approximately 60 vehicles. This Category 4 building will enhance the overall longevity of the various stored assets and will have a security system with card reader access, CCTV and exterior lighting thus ensuring further protection of this equipment. It will incorporate the latest energy conservation standards and utilize Energy Star equipment whenever practical.
