180 Glastonbury Boulevard

East Hartford, Connecticut

Traditional Architecture

This new four-story, 113,000 SF office building is located in Somerset Square, a planned development consisting of a series of multi-tenant office buildings, various sized retail spaces, restaurants, and a hotel.

The combination of brick and neo-classic precast concrete accents and standing seam metal roof are design characteristics of all of the Somerset Square buildings. The building is similar to the neighboring 200 Glastonbury Boulevard, a smaller three-story building. A large formal courtyard provides an outdoor seating area and a unique landscape feature that unifies these two buildings.

The formal main lobby was designed to create a distinctive environment appropriate for a range of tenants. Conservative, as well as high technology tenants, would be equally comfortable with the combination of traditional architectural elements together with contemporary finishes and colors.
