Corporate Dining

The corporate dining facility at Bristol Sports Center is located in the center of a sprawling single-story building and was designed to provide employees with a getaway from their company office environment. This dining service facility occupies approximately 36,600 SF. in their 390,000 SF. North Campus and was designed to replace three limited dining service operations. 

 

It was Bristol Sports Center's desire to have a 24-hour corporate dining service and facility, which would provide the 1,400 employees at this site with a corporate dining meeting place where they might cross paths with colleagues whom they might not typically see during the course of the day.

 

The CHK Architects design team developed the design of the dining servery and commercial kitchen around dining menu selections which were provided by the Food Service Operator, Flik. We worked closely with the Flik manager to design the corporate dining facility in such a way as to optimize dining services and utilization of staff throughout the day and to limit their company staff, but not the dining options, during off-hours.

Full-Service Cafeteria

The high standard of food service required in this dining program involved a great number of dining menu choices. In addition to the made-to-order salad, deli, grill, and pizza station there is access to a large number of action stations where a chef prepares the patron’s meal in full view, Marché style, and delivers a great dining experience. To support this restaurant's full-service operation the large kitchen has an adequate cooking capacity as well as cold and dry food storage. 

 

The introduction of a full-service cafeteria corporate dining operation into this building required the construction of new food service loading docks and solid waste facilities. We were also able to introduce a series of new technologies in the disposal of solid waste to support the company culture of green initiatives.

 

AV technologies were introduced into the corporate servery to provide patrons with digital signage displays for dining menu choices and, of course, sports broadcasts. The corporate dining room is designed to deliver a restaurant feel with a number of smaller, intimate seating areas with a combination of fixed and moveable furniture.
