Architectural Intern
Clohessy Harris & Kaiser is a medium-sized architectural firm, founded in 1987, which focuses on the design needs of substantial commercial and institutional clients with the goal of building long-lasting business relationships.
We currently seek an Architectural Intern. This full-time position requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively as a team member in the development of design and documentation for both new construction and renovation projects.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with client interactions/coordination, working and communicating with consultants, and working both collaboratively and independently.
Requirements:

Working toward a degree in Architecture from an accredited university.

Skill in the use of AutoCAD and/or Revit is required.

Excellent graphic skills; skill in 3D rendering is desirable (Enscape, Revit, PhotoShop)

Experience with Microsoft Office tools.

Highly professional demeanor.

Excellent communication skills, oral and written, including fluency in the English language.

Available for occasional travel for out-of-state projects.
Physical Requirements: The position requires occasional work in the field to confirm existing conditions and to observe construction progress. Field work is required in the inspection of construction sites required. Candidate must be able to:

Climb ladders; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl

Move safely over uneven terrain or in small spaces
Candidates must have U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.
